My Mum & Sister are hijacking my blog…They have got my cooking bug and are taking the place over…So look out for fun family creations….x

Hi my name is Bek and I turned 12 on June 18th, I was given heaps of birthday gifts and most had something to do with cooking. I love cooking and have been doing it on and off for a few years. I started helping my Granny cook meringues, Chrissy pudding shortbread and setting the table like we were feeding the Queen!

Then I was allowed to help my Dad cook his slices and cakes on a Sunday afternoon. We had so much fun but I made a big mess and I am pretty useless at cleaning!

Then came dinner with my Mum and well I just love cooking.

My next love is my dogs. We have 2. Zoe is a black Labrador and she will be 9 on Christmas Day 2011, my mum & dad let her have puppies and she had 8 of them. 6 were blonde and 2 were black and most have found homes with our friends so I get to see them around the place.

Zoe and I are best friends – she knows when it is my bed time each and every night and comes to bed with me for a snuggle and half the time stays the night – its like I have a sleep over with my best friend every night – it’s so cool…

This is Tia – the one we kept and she is a big baby with a capital B. She hates any noise which does not work well with kids. She will run to my mum & dads bed and hide. Or she will hide under my feet which is hard cause she is BIG. She has the softest fur and is so cuddly.

So, that’s my dogs. I also have 1 cat names Missy who is nearly 15 years old. We have 4 chooks who lay the best eggs in Sydney and I have one waste of space hermit crab.Mum thinks it is anyway! But I like it !

*****NEWSFLASH****** Hermit Crab died RIP 19th July 2011.

I have a big sister Jessie who is in year 11 and works at McDonalds and is an extra on Home & Away. And I have a brother Josh who is 14 and he also works at McDonalds. So they have lots of money.

My dream is to work one day at Taronga Zoo, I especially would love the Seals. This may change if my cooking and my blog get around the globe….I would love to have some body advertise on here and I love competitions so want to run some of these too.

My mum is going to help manage the blog as I have to go to school and I will be starting year 7 next year and I am very excited and want to make the most of it. So whilst I will cook and write my blog, mum will upload the pictures and send it out.

I hope you like my blog and make sure you like it on the blog page cause the more likes the more chance I  get to advertise..maybe? It will not always be about cooking for humans or my cooking but I will make your day just the same.
